The Clever Fish: Outsmarting the Fisherman
The Fisherman’s Routine
Clever Fish Kids Story: One day, a fisherman went to the river to fish, just like he did every day. He cast his net into the water and patiently waited, hoping to catch a good amount of fish. He dreamed of selling a large catch at the market and earning some good money.
The Unexpected Catch
After some time, the fisherman felt a tug on his net. Excited, he thought he had caught many fish and eagerly pulled the net out of the water. However, to his surprise, there was only one tiny fish in the net.

The Fish’s Plea
Suddenly, the little fish spoke to the fisherman, “Oh, dear fisherman, please, please let me go. Please release me!” But the fisherman paid no attention to the fish’s plea.
The Clever Fish’s Offer
Seeing that the fisherman wasn’t listening, the tiny fish spoke again, “Fisherman, I have a proposal that will greatly benefit you. If you let me go, I will go back and tell all my fish friends about you. Next time you come to the river, I’ll bring all my friends to your net, and you’ll catch many more fish.”
The Fisherman’s Decision
The fisherman thought to himself, “Wow, that doesn’t sound like a bad deal. I may have caught one small fish today, but tomorrow I could catch many more.” Convinced, he released the tiny fish back into the river.
The Clever Escape
The little fish happily swam away, never to return. The next day, the fisherman came back, expecting a large catch of fish, but the clever fish had outsmarted him. The fisherman waited in vain.
Moral of the Story
The clever fish had tricked the fisherman to save its life. Just like the fish, sometimes we need to be clever and think on our feet to escape life’s challenges.
